Welcoming Your Child to Tiny Hearts Daycare Center
Orientation:
We encourage you to schedule visits before your official start date. To maintain appropriate child-to-staff ratios, we ask that you remain on the premises during your visits. This allows both you and your child to get acquainted with the staff and the program before your child starts attending alone.
Gradual Transition for a Smooth Start
Starting at a new center is a significant step for both children and parents, and we’re here to make this transition as smooth as possible. We recommend a gradual introduction to Tiny Hearts Daycare Center to help your child adapt comfortably. Begin with short visits, gradually increasing the time each day during the first week. This approach helps them adjust to the new environment while you are not present.
When it’s time for you to say goodbye, a quick and cheerful farewell is most effective. Lingering can increase your child’s anxiety, so stay calm and confident. Rest assured; your child will quickly become engaged in fun activities. We invite you to call us for updates on your child's progress, and if your child faces any difficulties, we will reach out to you. We encourage parents and our team to collaborate on a transition plan to support your child during this period. If a gradual transition isn’t feasible for your family, please contact the Supervisor directly. We are committed to working with you to ensure a seamless and supportive entry into Tiny Hearts Daycare Center.
What should I bring for My Child?

- A sippy cup or water bottle
